The Shift supports organisations as they gear up for major capital projects. This often entails a significant culture shift, one that holds the potential for lasting change. Using our deep experience of major fundraising campaigns and capital projects we help projects establish clarity, confidence and credibility to galvanise your team, build a network of supporters, and develop unstoppable momentum.
The Shift comes out of a fascination with big projects and how they can transform organisations. Success often relies on making the shift from business as usual to a whole new way of thinking.
Our particular focus is funding and fundraising. A clear fundraising strategy can help put shape on your whole project, encouraging you to think about your organisation's wider vision, leadership and culture; building credibility and purpose right from the outset.
We develop clear, realistic and credible fundraising plans.
We work with trustee boards and leaders to establish clear roles and a shared sense of purpose.
We help you articulate what you already know in your bones: that your project is urgent, important and achievable.
We ask difficult questions and help you see your project through the eyes of the people who’s help you need.
The Shift is for leaders, boards and Development Directors who are embarking on large capital projects. In most cases, people who are setting out to do something for the first time.
People with questions such as:
How are we going to fund this?
Is this plan credible?
Should we be talking to donors already?
Have we got the right people in place?
What is the priority right now?
Why is it so hard to build momentum?
